What would it be like if you had nowhere to sleep tonight? How much worse would it be if you couldn’t provide shelter for your children or for an elderly parent? Most of us will never experience such terrible circumstances – but tragedies like these happen to people in our community every day.
The Coalition continually seeks to increase public awareness by actively networking with community-based groups and professional organizations. These include the Northern Panhandle HOME Consortium, West Virginia Coalition to End Homelessness, and the West Virginia Association of Homeless Services Contractors.

We offer full-scale supportive services, and focus on building our clients’ human capacity at 3 stages: emergency shelter, transitional housing and permanent housing.
Identifying and implementing long-term curative measures to homelessness, while also educating residents of the Greater Wheeling area about the issue.
Offering opportunities for participation and contribution that develop a sense of responsibility, improves decision making and provides a sense of connection.
By developing and supporting a seamless system of services in the greater Wheeling area, we strive to help the homeless live happier and healthier lives.
