Holiday party at the Coalition a great success

Thanks and appreciation to the generous donations of several local businesses and concerned citizens who provided a warm meal for clients of the Greater Wheeling Coalition for the Homeless.

On Thursday afternoon, Dec. 19, staff hosted dozens of current and former clients in the basement reception area, serving up hot food including a roasted ham, pasta and several hot and cold side dishes, beverages and deserts. People joked and enjoyed conversation, had pictures taken wearing a variety of festivet decorations and played holiday-themed games.

Contributors to the holiday dinner included:

  • Boscov’s
  • Honey Baked Ham
  • Jebbia’s
  • Melman’s Cafeteria
  • Reisbecks
